GB ARCHITECTURAL
Website
for the construction sector
GB Architectural Cladding Products are the UK’s leading supplier and manufacturer of architectural Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) cladding. This was a great website design to be involved in because there was wonderful photography to hand and a need to make this a high impact, image led site with concise content to support. The mega menu was divided in a colour coded way, with a featured projects area and a second area for company affiliated pages. The mix of video, large images, brand reinforcement and a clinical look and feel was well received by the client. I love it!
SETTLE COLLEGE
Prospectus for the education sector
Settle College wanted their rather tired and bland prospectus to be redesigned to be more engaging. Brighter colours were introduced along with a hexagon pattern which could be used either as graphics in their own right, or to house images or key information. A professional photographer was briefed and a mood board created - this ensured the correct tone and composition of imagery was achieved. The prospectus was finished off with a pocket in the inside back cover to hold additional correspondence.
THE BATH PIG
Packaging for the food and drink sector
The Bath Pig wanted to launch a range of chorizo and salami snack sticks, to be sold as bar snacks and in delicatessens. One product in the range was named 'Hot Rod' so I took that as a starting point and used the flame graphics found on American hot rod cars as the theme. This I ran through the whole range, with a different colourway for each one. Two of the range were chicken based snacks, so for this I created an additional character, to replace the Bath Pig branding that appears in the centre of the other sticks. The snacks were to be made using high welfare British produce so this was emphasised in the wording and flag at the base of the packaging.
ELEGANZA
Branding and website for the manufacturing sector
Eleganza supplies and fits luxury modern internal doors from Res Italia. Following the creation of typographically led branding, an impactful and elegant website was designed, featuring a simple UX with plenty of calls-to-action. Of course product imagery is used extensively throughout, not only lifestyle shots of the various doors in situ, but also product shots of the handles and finishes available in each range of doors. The particularly satisfying and seamless UI used to reveal and hide these on the product pages is, in my opinion, one of the most pleasing aspects of this site, which I love from top to bottom anyway.
THE JORDAN LEGACY
Website for the care sector
The Jordan Legacy is a not-for-profit business who’s goal is to reduce the number of lives lost to suicide. It was established in memory of Jordan Phillip. With a website such as this comes a great deal of amazing and supportive information, but it needs to be easily accessible and presented in an approachable way. For example, the user friendly mega-menu for the Help & Resources area, or the ability to easily access wonderful radio shows (past as well as present) in Jordan’s Space help make this site one that’s packed with information that’s also easy to find. The approachable tone and positive imagery emphasises this and the end result is one we’re proud of.
