BEACON EDUCATION
Website for the education sector

Beacon Education recruits and manages private tutors for families world-wide. The website incorporates a simple user journey for the two main audiences - parents and tutors. The brand is reinforced throughout the site, support information is easily accessible and call-to-action forms are a feature throughout. One of the USPs of Beacon are their constantly evolving worldwide job and private tuition vacancies (aimed at both parents and tutors) so the site incorporates relevant landing pages, supported by targetted social campaigns to drive traffic and enquiries.

THE RAINBOW CARE GROUP
Website and various support material for the care sector

The Rainbow Care Group provides dementia day care services across the UK, including specialist sports service day care groups. One of my favourite clients, I have worked on all collateral for them, including the brand and brand guideline creation, and all things digital and printed, including the informative and visually appealing website. There are regular marketing requirements for the many franchisees who operate from various UK-wide locations, and this includes social media graphics, flyers, posters, large format graphics and vouchers, as well as a multitude of information-led location landing pages that are regularly updated with new information, venues, map locations, and images. As well as this, I have also created vehicle wraps as well as exterior signage and interior wall vinyls for one of the Harrogate-based day care venues. I really am proud of all that we have done, and continue to do, for The Rainbow Care Group.

THE RAINBOW CARE GROUP
Support material for the care sector

The marketing material that's regularly designed for The Rainbow Care Group spans both printed and digital assets. The brand has its accompanying brand guidelines that cover the usual requirements (colours, fonts, logo do's and don'ts) but also tone of photography and social media considerations. The marketing collateral includes newspaper adverts, posters, vouchers for day-care taster days, promotional flyers and location or event-specific social media graphics. Whatever the many UK-wide franchisees require is delivered, and a fast but high-end service is provided for this on a rolling basis. The fanchisees have access to an online marketing request form where they can fill in their requirements and attach any files, and that can then be sent to me to action. There are also large format items such as pop-up banners, building signage (both exterior and interior) and vehicle wraps.

BLACK ELK LEISURE
Website for the health and leisure sector

Black Elk Leisure create exceptional wellness spaces across the UK, specialising in saunas, spas, and steam rooms that promote relaxation and rejuvenation. Their website needed to look really high-end and full of impact because, as well as promoting their products, it was also selling a lifestyle. Their four main business areas - commercial saunas, residential saunas, steam rooms and spa & shower rooms - all have their own featured landing pages, complete with bespoke gallery area, FAQs section, product information and health benefits. Each page has it's own enquiry form (linked to it's own 'thank-you' page) so it's not only clear as to what area an incoming enquiry relates to (and a tailored response can therefore be sent), but the enquiry conversion rates can be easily tracked. An easy to update blog is full of health-related information and a featured projects area showcases some of their installations. The mix of great imagery, video and an easy UX makes for an engaging site.

TEAMWALKING
Woocommerce website for the outdoor and adventure sector

The websites features complete search functionality (by date, location, event type or duration), shop and course booking forms with a secure login area and the ability to set up a wish list. Each individual course page comes with it's own downloadable consent forms, equipment checklists and associated loyalty reward scheme.

HARROGATE INTEGRATED FACILITIES LTD
Website for the care sector

Harrogate Integrated Facilities Ltd is a subsidiary company of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. We won a competitive pitch to design, build and host the website, in which an extremely tight turnaround was required. We achieved this and delivered a high-impact site with a nice UX and clear signposting throughout. Their 16 Service areas needed prominence on the homepage (and throughout) so we used a sliding design function for this to ensure easy access. The site also features accessibility and language options as well as staff login and, of course, informative content throughout.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS
Brand guidelines and handbooks for the care sector

AA is concerned with the personal recovery and continued sobriety of individual alcoholics who turn to the Fellowship for help. While they have an established brand, the lack of guidelines meant there was little continuity in the collateral their trustees subsequently produced. Therefore, impactful brand guidelines were devised and a secondary colour palette was introduced. Next, designs and master templates were created for their three main magazines - Roundabout, Share and Service News - and instructional Loom videos on best practices were produced. Finally their two comprehensive 'bibles' - the Service Handbook and the Structure Handbook were redesigned to make them far more engaging and approachable than the previous versions.
